Who We Support

The Depot Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the arts, culture, and history of our beautiful Depot and the organizations within it. Established in 1979, we have provided over $7.6 million in funds to organizations in the Depot including the Duluth Superior Symphonic Orchestra, MN Ballet, and many more. Donations received directly help keep this building alive and promote the arts and culture within our community.

The Depot Foundation is dedicated to preserving the St. Louis County Depot as a vibrant and welcoming forum for the arts, culture and history through managing and growing a permanent endowment.

History

The Depot Foundation was founded in 1979 as an entity to help preserve the iconic Depot in Duluth, MN and promote art and culture within its walls. The Depot Foundation has been a staple in the arts, culture, and historical community for over 40 years.

At the Depot Foundation, we are proud to host our own endowment. This endowment is then overseen by our board of directors who have a given amount they can allocate each year.
